Cerec Digital Impression System
The use of digital impressions takes the place of the traditional impression material used as part of the process when making crowns and bridges. No more trays filled with material that is placed in the mouth to get an impression of the teeth. Digital impressions use computer technology to take multiple pictures of your tooth and surrounding area. The pictures are then used to create a three dimensional model of your dental restoration on a computer. This model is then sent electronically to the dental lab and the crown or bridge is made.
